About the Programme and FAQs

During these two days, Dave and Paul will be looking into some of the theology surrounding work with children, along with some practical skills that will give you a good step into children's ministry.

We will discuss together where this all fits in the wider missional context.

We will be considering how to present the Bible narrative to children and also looking at what specific challenges working with today's children present.

What could it look like if we re-imagined children's ministry in the light of today's world?

DAVE GIDNEY is married with three children, and now a grandfather to teenagers! He has been a church planter, pastor, a Bible college lecturer in Biblical studies, theology and children's ministry. He is the Director of Children Worldwide, part of a national think tank on children's ministry, author of several books on children's ministry, and theology.

PAUL WILLMOTT is married with two grown-up children, he is an Evangelist with Counties and a member of Children Worldwide. He works with schools & churches locally and nationally, using the skills that God has equipped him with including; Storytelling, Puppetry, Juggling and even Ventriloquism.
